Before you start sewing, all you need to do is prepare your pattern: print, cut, assemble… I’ll explain everything step by step for a precise and hassle-free result.

Print your pattern to your size

Open the file and choose the size you want to print. You can, of course, print all sizes if you wish. Click on the "layer" icon, circled in red in the screenshot below. Uncheck the sizes you do not wish to print. Leave the "common" layer checked.

Print the pattern at “actual size”.
Start by printing only the first page to check the print square. Attention, this verification is essential.

Assemble the pages together using the numbers and alignment marks; you need to cut along the edges of the frames to assemble them.

Before cutting, check the size chart to determine your size. If you are between two measurements, do not hesitate to cut between sizes so that the top corresponds as closely as possible to your measurements.

3. Overlay and align
Each sheet contains a frame (print margins), a page number, and alignment marks (half-circles).
 Cut along the frame to remove the print margins.
Cut only to the outer edge of the rectangle, without cutting into the content.

👉 Important:
For each complete circle, cut only one of the two margins (that of a single page).
This allows you to overlap and align more easily.

4. Assemble a line (horizontal)

Use the cutting plan which tells you when to start a new line.

Tape the pages together. Start by assembling an entire line (1 → 2 → 3 → 4…), aligning the half-circles and taping on the back.

5. Assemble the lines together (vertical).

Once each line is assembled, overlap the lines, aligning the half-circles, then tape to form the large complete page.

FAQ

❓ FAQ - Je n'arrive pas à imprimer mon patron

Je dois choisir “taille réelle” ou “adapter à la page” ?

Choisis toujours “taille réelle” ou “100 %”.

Ne sélectionne jamais “adapter à la page”, sinon ton patron sera trop petit.

Mon carré test ne fait pas la bonne taille, que faire ?

Vérifie que :

  • l’échelle est bien à 100 %
  • aucun ajustement automatique n’est activé

➡️ Réimprime la page test avant de continuer

Je dois découper toutes les marges ?

Non. Découpe uniquement un côté des marges (celui avec les repères).

👉 Ça permet de superposer les feuilles plus facilement.

Les demi-cercles ne tombent pas pile-poil, c’est grave ?

Les demi-cercles doivent former un cercle parfait.

➡️ Sinon, ton patron sera décalé.

Je scotche par-dessus ou par-dessous ?

Scotche de préférence au dos des feuilles pour garder une surface propre et lisible. Par facilité tu peux toujours scotcher devant.

Je commence par assembler comment ?

Commence par assembler une ligne complète (horizontalement),

puis assemble les lignes entre elles (verticalement).

Le patron est décalé entre les pages, pourquoi ?

Souvent à cause :

  • d’une mauvaise échelle
  • d’une impression non centrée

➡️ Vérifie les paramètres d’impression.

Pourquoi mon patron PDF est en plusieurs pages ?

Parce qu’il est conçu pour être imprimé au format A4 ou en US Letter (le format doit être indiqué sur le nom du fichier).

➡️ Une fois assemblé, tu obtiens le patron complet à taille réelle.

Combien de temps pour assembler un patron PDF ?

En moyenne entre 10 et 30 minutes selon le nombre de pages.

Comment je sais quelle page s'assemble avec quelle page ?

Normalement, ton patron PDF est envoyé avec un plan d'assemblage qui te montre le résultat final que tu dois obtenir, exactement comme sur un puzzle. Les pages sont également numérotées.
