The Axelle skirt sewing pattern is a classic high-waisted mini-skirt design with an integrated waistband. It fastens at the side with an invisible zipper. The pleats allow it to be fitted at the waist and flared towards the hem.

Materials and fabric choice
To make this skirt, you will need the following amount of fabric: 1.40m in length with a minimum width of 1.10m.
You will also need an invisible zipper about 20 cm long.
For this skirt, I recommend using an ironing ruler (optional).
To make a pleated skirt, it is important to choose a fabric that has enough structure to hold the pleats, while also having a good drape for a nice movement. I recommend choosing from the following types of fabric: polyester fabric, taffeta fabric, gabardine (wool or cotton), or a cotton fabric blended with polyester.

The pattern is available in sizes XS to XL (FR 34 to FR 42 / US 2 to US 10).
Size XS: Bust 84 cm, Waist 64 cm, Hips 89 cm, Arm length 61 cm.
Size S: Bust 88 cm, Waist 68 cm, Hips 93 cm, Arm length 61.5 cm.
Size M: Bust 92 cm, Waist 72 cm, Hips 97 cm, Arm length 62 cm.
Size L: Bust 96 cm, Waist 76 cm, Hips 101 cm, Arm length 62.5 cm.
Size XL: Bust 100 cm, Waist 80 cm, Hips 105 cm, Arm length 63 cm.
